Synopsis
Turn Over follows Kerry as he returns to the family farm with a plan to make some quick money, only to discover that he now co-owns an old, broken tractor with his older brother Thad. Bought by their father shortly before his sudden death, the tractor has become a symbol of unfinished business, both practical and emotional. If the engine can be brought back to life, the tractor may be valuable. But getting it running means Kerry must convince Thad to work alongside him, reopening old wounds and unresolved tensions. As they labour over the stubborn machine, memories surface and long held resentments are tested. Set against the quiet pressures of rural life, Turn Over is a gentle, character driven story about family, loss, and the possibility of reconciliation. It explores how shared work can uncover buried emotions, and how restoring something old can sometimes help people move forward together.
