Synopsis
In 1971, astronaut Alan Shepard returned from the moon and paid a visit to his longtime barber and friend, Carlos Villagomez, in Webster, Texas. Before sitting in the chair, Shepard handed Carlos an autographed golf ball, a quiet gesture that would later raise an extraordinary question. During the Apollo 14 mission, Shepard famously hit a golf ball on the lunar surface, a moment that became part of space history. The Barber, the Astronaut, and the Golf Ball explores whether the ball given to Carlos could be the very one taken to the moon, or simply a meaningful gift between two friends.
