Synopsis
Strings Attached follows Darius, a young burrito stand worker whose life takes an unexpected turn after a fleeting connection leaves him quite literally without his heart. Suddenly unmoored and vulnerable, he is forced to follow the invisible thread that still binds him to it, setting out on a journey shaped by longing, confusion, and hope. As Darius navigates the emotional terrain of attraction and loss, the film transforms internal feelings into physical obstacles, allowing love to be experienced as something tangible, fragile, and deeply disorienting. What begins as a moment of connection quickly becomes a test of resolve, as outside forces threaten to complicate his path. Playful, sincere, and visually inventive, Strings Attached explores the early stages of love, capturing the joy, uncertainty, and vulnerability of opening oneself up to another person.
