Synopsis

SALT! follows a couple enjoying a meal at a fine dining restaurant, until Vinny asks for some salt. What should be a quick and harmless request turns awkward as it passes from the waiter, to the manager, to the chef, and finally to the owner, each taking the situation far more seriously than the last. As the couple sit patiently at the table, polite smiles start to strain and upscale etiquette spirals into quiet chaos. Playful and understated, SALT! finds humour in social awkwardness and the absurd lengths some places will go to protect their sense of perfection.
