Synopsis

Sam has recently started a new role as a marketing consultant and is trying to find his footing at work. On the surface, his days follow a familiar rhythm, meetings, emails, expectations. But there is one moment he dreads, using the office toilets. Set entirely within the confined space of a cubicle, Pee Fright places the audience alongside Sam as anxiety slowly takes hold. What should be an ordinary, everyday task becomes increasingly overwhelming, with pressure building in real time. The film explores paruresis, a common but rarely spoken about condition, and how private fears can quietly shape daily life. Through an intense, focused perspective, Pee Fright captures the isolation, frustration, and mental strain of living with an anxiety that few people ever talk about.
