Synopsis

Partners in Crime follows two small time criminals spending the night together in a car as they carry out what should be a straightforward job. Bound by routine rather than trust, their partnership is defined by mild flirtation, misdirection, and a shared reluctance to say what is actually on their minds. As the night drags on, the confined space becomes charged with unresolved tension, awkward humour, and shifting power dynamics. With little to do but wait, conversation turns into confrontation, teasing slips into honesty, and control becomes part of the attraction. The criminal task itself fades into the background as the pair circle one another emotionally, each testing how far they can push without revealing too much. Bright, playful, and sharply observed, Partners in Crime uses comedy to explore attraction, performance, and the quiet risks of admitting you care when pretending not to feels safer.
