Synopsis

Def Hof is a stop motion story that plays with curiosity and unease, asking what really goes on behind closed doors. From the outside, everything seems ordinary, familiar, and safe. But as attention turns towards the neighbours next door, small details begin to suggest that not all is as it seems. With a dark sense of humour, the film explores the risks of looking too closely into other people’s lives. Def Hof leaves us with the uneasy feeling that curiosity can come at a cost, and that sometimes it is best not to know.
