As someone who's taken on various roles in this industry, from acting to editing, and recently serving as a judge at film festivals, I’ve witnessed the impact of independent cinema and the dedication behind these projects. The magic of cinema lies in its power to engage our emotions, and independent films achieve this through passion, creativity and innovation. Many of today's biggest films began in the independent scene, where creatives explore ideas and offer perspectives often overlooked by mainstream cinema. Now entering our second edition, we’re continuing to build a community dedicated to celebrating the vision and resilience of independent filmmakers.
