Narrative
Synopsis
Twain takes place inside a prison visiting booth, where twin brothers sit opposite one another, separated by glass. What begins as a straightforward visit quickly becomes something more difficult, as conversation opens up old wounds and unfinished business. The incarcerated brother listens, while the visitor struggles to deliver a message shaped by their shared history. As the dialogue unfolds, fragments of their childhood and long buried secrets begin to surface, shifting the balance between them. Confined to a single space, the film allows the past to emerge through what is said and what is avoided. Twain is an intimate portrait of brotherhood, memory, and the complicated ties that continue to bind them.
